A Word to Couples & Families

The challenge of the Building Fund can be a rich time of blessing for couples and families. I recommend that all husbands and wives spend time praying together and deciding together what sacrificial commitment to make before God. If you have children old enough, include them in the discussion and commitment also. As a family encourage each other in a great faith adventure with God, and through your unity you will experience great blessings from God.

Ecclesiastes 4:9 & 12 says that two are better than one and a cord of three strands cannot be quickly broken. Psalm 133 declares that where there is unity, the Lord commands His blessing.

For blessing to flow out of sacrificial giving, there must be communication and agreement within families. Unity in fact increases the blessing that God can pour out. Pray together, sacrifice together, and enjoy the abundance of God’s blessing.

A documentary about a extraordinary giving and a extraordinary God

Christmas Day 2013, the Faith in Christ building was tragically burnt down. For three years after the event, the church continued to gather together in homes, abandoned restaurants, event spaces and other church’s while we waited for the new home to be built. In 2016, God blesses the church with a new place to call home but that is not the end of the story. 

This featurette doesn’t aim to just look back, but to inspire us to press on — “forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3:12-14)
