About us

Faith in Christ Fellowship exists to proclaim the Good News of salvation, bring people into the body of Christ, help each other grow into Christ-like maturity, love and serve one another and the community, so as to give glory to our loving Almighty God.

Our Vision

Producing faithful followers of Christ

Our vision is to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19‑20) to reach people and to teach people, in obedience to the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37‑39) to love God and to love people.

Our Core Values

Who are we?

> Faith in Christ Fellowship exists to proclaim the Good News of salvation, bring people into the body of Christ, help each other grow into Christ-like maturity, love and serve one another and the community, so as to give glory to our loving Almighty God.

We are a Foursquare Church. We are part of an international organisation of over 27,000 churches in more than 120 countries.  The word Foursquare means ‘firm’, ‘dependable’, and ‘steady’.  The Gospel of Jesus Christ if “foursquare” in that it is the unshakable, unchanging truth of God’s love and salvation for the whole world.  Foursquare also describes the four major facets of Jesus’ ministry:

  • Jesus is the Saviour, who rescues and delivers from sin
  • Jesus is the Healer, who came to make people whole in body, mind, and spirit
  • Jesus is the Baptiser, who fills His people with the power of the Holy Spirit
  • Jesus is the King, who will come again for His bride, the Church and fully establish His kingdom on earth.

We believe that a proper focus on our family relationships is where ministry to others must begin. A christianity that doesn’t work at home won’t work anywhere else either! We want husbands and wives, parents, children and every believer to let the light of Jesus shine in the everyday life of their families. Our homes will be powerful centres of ministry as we reach out to family friends and neighbours with the love of God. We aim to

  • Help and care for the elderly
  • Encourage and support single parents
  • Build strong marriages and families
  • Provide ministry for the children and youth
  • Visit and pray for the sick
  • Support ethnic people as they arrive and settle in Australia

What to Expect

Next Steps

  • Attend church regularly. Worshiping and learning in community with others is one of the best ways to re-align yourself with God.
  • Read your Bible. God’s Word is meant to be woven throughout our lives, giving us new wisdom with each season we experience. It’s the story of His love for us since the beginning of time—something best enjoyed daily.
  • Pray. We have the privilege of a direct connection to the Creator of the universe. Through prayer, God addresses our deepest hopes and fears, gives us direction, and expresses His love to us.
  • Get Baptized. Baptism is our way of telling the world about our relationship with Christ. Jesus did it, and it’s an important way we can follow His footsteps.
  • Give. When we give, it acknowledges God as the giver of everything we have, reflects our trust that He will continue to provide for us, and allows us to be a part of His work here on earth. It’s something we do with joy.
  • Bring your family. Following Jesus is a journey that becomes even more meaningful when shared. A great way to lay the groundwork is getting your kids involved in the ministry that’s designed just for them.
  • Build relationships. Connect with people in a LifeGroup, where you can make new friends, connect with people growing in the same area as you, or develop mentoring relationships.
  • Discover purpose. Each of us is a masterpiece, placed on earth for a unique purpose that’s solely ours to fulfill. Uncover and pursue God’s dream for your life.
  • Serve. Make a difference by serving a worthy cause, whether volunteering at Faith in Christ Fellowship or changing something in your community.
  • Grow as a Leader. Invest in others by putting your leadership into action. You’ve got lots of options, like mentoring, coaching, leading a LifeGroup, or launching a mission.
  • Get help. Your next step may be gaining freedom from harmful influences in your life, like recovering from addiction or reframing unhealthy relationships.
  • Learn and grow. Go deeper on a topic you’re passionate about with targeted teaching and resources.
